OakPoint identified the location for The Farm at Golston Hill (aka The Farm) as one able to benefit from the rapid growth of Nashville, which has largely moved along the I-65 corridor south of the city. This area has attracted a strong manufacturing presence, which has grown significantly due to the presence of major production facilities for international companies such as Mars and General Motors. The site also benefited from panoramic views and wooded setting atop Golston Hill. The project was developed under HUD’s 221(d)4 construction-to-permanent lending platform. OakPoint delivered the asset to the market in August of 2019 and reached stabilization by October 2020. Planning for a second phase for this project is currently underway.
